Our Introduction

A warm welcome to the ‘Dev Bhoomi Skill Foundation’. We are a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to empowering communities through skills and bringing about sustainable change. We believe that true development is possible only when every segment of society has equal opportunities in education, health, and livelihood.

Inspired by the ‘Dev Bhoomi’ (Land of the Gods) nestled in the lap of the mountains, our mission is to empower local communities by understanding their unique needs. We don’t just provide aid; we cultivate skills, enabling every individual to step confidently towards their better future.

🎯 Our Areas of Focus

We work at the grassroots level, focusing on the following five main pillars:

• Educational Programs: Our objective is to bring quality education to inaccessible areas, especially for underprivileged children and girls. We provide every child with learning opportunities, from basic literacy to modern knowledge.

• Skill Development: Our primary focus is to provide employable vocational skills to youth and women. Through training programs, we make them self-reliant, enabling them to contribute to the local and broader economy.

• Health Related Initiatives: Our goal is to ensure better health for all. For this, we organize health awareness camps, work on Nutrition programs, and help improve access to primary healthcare facilities in remote areas.

• Environmental Conservation: It is our responsibility to preserve the sanctity of ‘Dev Bhoomi’. We actively work on forest conservation, water management, Waste Management, and raising awareness about climate change.

• Social Programmes: We work for social justice and inclusive development. Our programs are focused on women’s empowerment, elderly care, and integrating the weaker sections of society into the mainstream.
